Leica GeoSystems introduces the Mojo3D, an all-in-one GPS system capable of different levels of accuracy for a variety of farming applications. Leica Geosystems' territory manager, John Ross, said the Mojo3D represented the latest GPS technology at an affordable pmojo3Drice. "The Mojo3D is an entry-level GPS product that is capable of 25cm accuracy off the shelf, but it can be upgraded to 2cm accuracy if needed," John said.

A feature of the Mojo3D is its ability to display a vehicle's position in a paddock in relation to other geographic detail. John said the visual display enabled the driver to obtain a good perspective of the location of the tractor as it worked a paddock. "You can select from a variety of perspectives by zooming in and out as well as being able to choose from a variety of virtual vehicles and implements," John said. "So, with a touch of the screen, you can see things from ground level or from 'above' the tractor using realistic 3D models." The Mojo3D has a 180mm-wide screen with sharp visual graphics. Navigating the Mojo's capabilities is done via an icon-based menu structure, which John said was easy to follow.

"There are set-up wizards, just like on many computers and changing settings is simply a matter of tapping the icon without the need to navigate from the main guidance screen," he said. The standard Leica Mojo3D comes with an easy-mount antenna to suit most vehicle roofs and a built-in modem for in-cab remote service and support via Leica's Virtual Wrench system. Coverage mapping is included as standard and there is an option to be able to store the worked area, and save and recall treatments. The Mojo3D can also be optioned to import and export data from tractor to tractor, or export PDF format reports via a USB. learn more...
